I’m writing with more information about recent changes to NDIS supports as we near the end of the 30-day provider transition period.

From 18 October 2024, we will remove the secret question and answer sign in option to linked myGov accounts.

The PRG is a key platform to make sure the participant voice is heard and understood by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). Feedback from meetings is used to inform strategy, policy development, system and service delivery development and review, to support continuous improvement.

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is connecting the my NDIS app to myGov.

As part of our improvements to systems and processes in the NDIS, from today, self-managed participants who submit claims to the NDIA may be asked to upload supporting evidence for claims. There are no changes to how claims are made for participants who have their supports plan managed or NDIA-managed. 

On 14 October, the Administrative Appeals Tribunal was replaced by a new body called the Administrative Review Tribunal (new Tribunal).

There are changes to the NDIS which start from 3 October 2024. One of the immediate changes is a new definition of NDIS supports. This affects all participants, but for most people there won't be big changes to the way they experience the NDIS right now.
